WHEREAS, the Department of housing and Urban Development has
made a grant to the City. of Bremerton in the amount of $500,000.00 for
the construction of a third water transmission line; and,
WHEREAS, funds from this grant will be furnished by a U. S.
Treasury Department letter of credit as specified in HUD Handbook 1900.23
dated January, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the HUD Handbook requires that all requests for funds
be signed by two authorized individuals, and the filing of specimen sig-
nature cards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVLD that any two of the following
are hereby authorized and designated to sign the requests for funds in
co:aection with this project:
Mayor
Commissioner of Finance
City Treasurer
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare and submit the necessary
specimen signature cards as required.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
adoption this 27th day of August , 1975.
