A Resolution Authorizing the Lease
of Real Property to Kitsap County
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton presently owns the
below-described real property and buildings thereon which is
commonly known as 1720 Warren Avenue, Bremerton, Washington; and
WHEREAS, the lease of such real property to Kitsap County
is necessary for the needs of Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, Kitsap County is presently developing an
emergency communications system to serve numerous governmental
entities situate in Kitsap County and such real property and the
buildings thereon are necessary to the satisfactory completion of
such project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
The City of Bremerton is hereby authorized to lease the
following described real property to Kitsap County for a period
of ten (10) years with four (4) successive ten (10) year renewal
options a rental of One Dollar ($1.00) per year and subject to
such other terms and conditions as are mutually agreeable for use
by Kitsap County in an emergency communications system:
The south 63.54 feet of the west half of lot 6, tract
4, Warren Smith's Acre Tracts as per plat recorded in
volume 2, page 51 in the office of the Kitsap County
Auditor; Except, the west 35 feet for Warren Avenue;
together with
The north 32 feet of the west half of lot 7, tract 4 of
the aforementioned plat; Except, the west 35 feet for
Warren Avenue; together with
The east 62.45 feet of the west 97.45 feet of the south
98.08 feet of lot 7, tract 4 of the aforementioned
plat;
All situate in Township 24 north, range 1
east, W.M., Kitsap County, Washington.
