WHEREAS, the 701 Program provides federal
funding for comprehensive planning for cities and municipalities~
and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is a municipal body
authorized by state law to receive such funding and is
desirous of obtaining said funding for current and future
benefit of the citizens of the City of Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is a member of the
Puget Sound Governmental Conference, a regional planning
district, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON that George Plescher shall be, and is, the designated
official to act on behalf of the City of Bremerton for the
purpose of preparing and filing the application for the 701
program and is hereby further authorized to provide any and
all additional information as the same may be required.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
of May, 1975.
