of the City of Bremerton, to act as the agent of
the Bremerton City Council in negotiations with the
Communications Division, Department of General Adm-
inistration, State of Washington, for the install-
ation of state leased SCAN telephone lines in
various City offices.
WHEREAS the State of Washington through its Communications Division,
Department of General Administration, has SCAN telephone lines which can be
leased by Washington City Governments for the purpose of reducing in-state
toll call expenses; and
WHEREAS said Communications Division requires the City's governing
body by resolution to designate the individual authorized to negotiate for
the City in obtaining use of these lines; and
WHEREAS the City Auditor, John R. Ross, by virtue of his background
knowledge, experience and position is uniquely qualified to represent the best
interests of the Bremerton City Council in this endeavor;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT 3ohn R. Ross, Bremerton City Auditor,
is designated the agent of the Bremerton City Council to work with the Washington
State Communications Division in acquiring SCAN telephone lines for use in
Bremerton Municipal Offices.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 12th day of March, 1975.
