A RESOLUTION setting date of hearing for the
Rainier National Bank Easement Vacation, for
January 26, 1977, at 10:30 A.M.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton intends to consider
the vacation of the easement to construct,reconstruct and maintain
public utilities retained on property described as follows:
That certain parcel described as follows: That
part of Government Lot 2, Section 13, Township 24
North, Range 1 East, W.M., described as follows:
Beginning 658 feet East and 123.5 feet North of the
Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence North 20.5 feet;
thence West 94 feet; thence South 20.5 feet; thence
East 94 feet to point of beginning.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance NO. 2334 requires that a
hearing on petition to vacate portions of City Property shall
be held by the City Council on a date set by the City Council
of the City of Bremerton, not more than sixty days (60) nor
less than twenty days (20) after the date of adoption of said
resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton shall
hold a hearing on the resolutian to vacate the above-described
property and that said hearing shall be held before the City
Council of the City of Bremerton on the 26th day of January, 1977
at 10:30 a.m., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Bremerton,
Washington; and it is further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City Clerk shall post notice for twenty (20) days of
the filing and hearing of said petition to vacate, said notice
to be posted on the above described property and in three (3)
conspicuous public places.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 29th day of December, 1976.
