RESOLUTION authorizing the filing of an Application
with the State of Washington Department of Ecology
for Coastal Zone Management Assistance under Section
306 of the Coastal Zone Management Act.
WHEREAS, the State Department of Ecology is authorized to make grants
for Coastal Zone Management Assistance under Section 306 of the Coastal Zone
Management Act.
WHEREAS, it is required by the Department of Ecology and the Shoreline
Management Act of 1971 that the applicant guarantee successful and timely
completion of the project to the satisfaction of the Department of Ecology.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON, WASHINGTON
1. That the Mayor of Bremerton, Glenn K. Jarstad, is authorized
to execute and file an Application on behalf of the City of Bremerton, with the
Washington State Department of Ecology for a grant under Section 306 of the
Coastal Zone Management Act to assist in the continuing development and administra-
tion of the Shoreline Master Program for the City of Bremerton.
2. That Glenn K. Jarstad, Mayor of the City of Bremerton is authorized
to furnish such additional information as the Department of Ecology may require
in connection with the application of the project.
