WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
made a grant to the City of Bremerton in the amount of $815,917.00
water system improvements; and,
WHEREAS, funds from this grant wi. ll be Furnished by a U.S.
Treasury Department letter of credit as specified in HUD Handbook
1900.23 dated January 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the HUD Handbook requires that all requests for funds
be signed by two authorized individuals, and the filing of specimen
signature cards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that any two of the following
are hereby authorized and designated to sign the requests for funds in
connection with this project:
Glenn K. Jarstad, Mayor
Robert B. Stewart, Commissioner of finance
R. Goodpasture, City Treasurer
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare and submit the necessary
specimen signatnre cards as required.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
adoption this 27th day of July, 1977.
