RESOLUTION N0. 1721
A RESOLUTION suspending the special irrigation
rates as provided For in Ordinance No. 3307.
WHEREAS the lack of precipitation during the winter
months of 1976-77 has resulted in decreased reserves of water
available to the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS conservation of water is necessary to insure the
availablity of water for the needs of the City of Bremerton and its
citizens, and
WHEREAS the special irrigation rates permitted under
Ordinance No. 3307 , BMC 15.04.110 tends to increase the use of
this water which should be conserved in light of the existing water
shortage.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON that
the special irrigation rates set out in Ordinance No. 3307 ,
codified as BMC 15.04.010 are hereby suspended until such time as the
City Council deems proper.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 27th day of April, 1977.
