A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE INTEREST IN AND SUPPORT
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REGIONALIZED CRIMINAL
JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the need for a computerized system of police
department data input and retrieval is recognized to be necessary for
the Bremerton Police Department to maintain the desired level of
efficiency in performing its duties, and
WHEREAS, the development of a Regionalized Criminal Justice
Information System as set out in the attached supplement would
provide such a computerized system, and
WHEREAS, the Program Planning and Grant Admininstration is
presently seeking funds for such a system.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
Does hereby express its interest in and its support of
for the development of a Regionalized Criminal Justice Information
System.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 6th day of April,1977.
