WHEREAS, on the 30th day of March, 1891, a roadway
was platted extending East 11t Street in a westerly direction
from the centerline of Shore Drive; and
WHEREAS, said roadway has never been used as a road-
way or for public purposes, and is situated on a steeply banked
area well nigh landlocked, useless for developmenL; and
WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Washington 1889-90
Chapter 19, Section 32, page 603, provide that if said property
is not used for a period of five years as a roadway or as other-
wise provided by said statute, it shall be vacated as a matter
of law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BREMERTON that the City of Bremerton acknowledges the
vacation of the below described property by operation of law, and
makes no claim to said property:
The South 1/2 of East llth Street lying
westerly of the westerly margin of Shore
Drive extended northwesterly, and
easterly of the government meander line.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 16th day of March, 1977.
