A RESOLUTION authorizing signing of an
application to Aetna Life & Casualty
for Self Insurer's Bond to the State of
Washington
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the law relating
to industrial insurance of the State of Washington, employers of workmen
are afforded the opportnnity to become self-inspirers of their industrial
insurance liabilities as required by the applicable provisions of Title 51
RCW, as amended, and
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton has applied to the Director for
authority to self-insure its industrial insurance liabilities and such
application has been approved subject to obtaining a surety bond in the
amount of $100,000 to satisfy the requirements of the law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF BREMERTON that application be made to Aetna Life & Casualty for a
bond in the amount of $1OO,OOO.OO to satisfy the requirements of the law
for the City of Bremerton Workmens Compensation Self-Insurance Program.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in autbentication of
such passage this 3rd day of October, 1978.
