A RESOLUTION awarding a bid to purchase
certain real property owned by the City
of Bremerton.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton owns certain real
property more particularly described as follows;
That portion of Block 35 in plat of C.D.
Hillman's Navy Yard Addition, as recorded
in Volume 3 of Plats, page 129, records
of Kitsap County, Washington; more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of
Lot 11, Block 3, Third Addition to
Sheridan Park as per plat recorded in
Volume 8 of Plats, page 64, records of
Kitsap County; thence East 170 feet to
the True Point of Beginning; thence
South 125 feet; thence East 60 feet; thence
North 125 feet; thence West 60 feet to
the True Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, said property is not necessary to the
City of Bremerton and is surplus property;
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton deemed it in
the best interests of the City to sell said property
pursuant to public bid;
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton provided notice
of said sale pursuant to law and accepted bids submitted
to it for the purchase of said property; and
WHEREAS, Ann Templeton submitted the highest
bid for the purchase of said property.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
THAT the bid of $12,027 submitted by Ann
Templeton be accepted and awarded.
THAT the purchase price of $12,027 shall be
paid pursuant to real estate contract between the parties
upon the following specifications:
1. A down payment of ten percent of the total
purchase price shall be paid at the time of closing.

2. Equal monthly payments shall be paid on
the declining balance for a period not to exceed twelve
(12) years.
3. Interest at the rate of nine percent per
annum shall accrue on the declining unpaid principal
balance.
4. Upon payment in full by the Purchaser, the
City shall deliver a Statutory (Fulfillment) Warranty
Deed to the Purchaser.
5. The parties shall share the closing costs
equally.
THAT the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
proceed to close this transaction as required by law.
PASSED this 18th day of July, 1978, by
the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington.
