A RESOLUTION setting out the date, time and place for a public
hearing on a portion of 9th Street right-of-way vacation as April 11, 1978,
at 10:30 A.M., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Bremerton, Washington.
WHEREAS, Roy Chamberlin, 306 Upper Shore Drive, Bremerton, Washington,
98310, has requested a right-of-way vacation on real property described as
follows:
That portion of 9th Street in the plat of Decatur as per
plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, page 67, records of
Kitsap County, WA described as follows: Beginning at the
intersection of the south margin of 9th Street and west
right-of-way margin of Pitt Ave. as established by City
of Bremerton Ordinance No. 917; thence west along the south
margin thereof to the most westerly corner of Lot 1, Block
22, said plat; thence north 20 ft.; thence east parallel to
the south margin of 9th Street to intersection with a
projection Northwesterly of the west margin of Pitt Ave. as
established by said Ordinance No. 917; thence southeasterly
along a straight line to point of beginning.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to hold a public hearing on the issue
of whether said vacation should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That a public hearing on the right-of-way vacation requested by
Roy Chamberlin for the above described real property shall be held on
April 11, 1978, at 10:30 A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall,
239 Fourth Street, Bremerton, Washington.
PASSED by the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 14th day of March, 1978.
