RESOLUTION NO. 1826
A RESOLUTION relating to handling and
processing fees for checks made payable
to the City of Bremerton and dishonored
by the payor bank
WHEREAS the handling and processing of dishonored
checks have resulted in increased administrative costs;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON, WASHINGTON
That the City Treasurer shall institute a charge
of $5.00 to be assessed against the drawer of any check made
payable to the City of Bremerton when said check is subsequently
dishonored by any payor bank.
DONE IN OPEN SESSION this 2nd day of October, 1979.
