A RESOLUTION revising the rates for use of
equipment in the Equipment Rental Fund
effective August l, 1979 and superseding the
rates established by Resolutions 1793 and 1812.
WHEREAS the rates established for Equipment Rental Fund
equipment by Resolutions 1793 and 1812 are in need of adjustment to
mare accurately reflect the needs for equipment replacement and for
maintenance and operating costs:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the rates established in
Resolutions 1793 and 1812 are superseded by the rates set forth in the
attached Schedule A.
FURTHER, that the monthly reserve and operation rate will apply
to Items 1 through 9 regardless of use. The hourly reserve and operation
rate will be used for inter-departmental billing of all equipment and
will apply to specialized equipment (Items 10 through 25) until such item
is used more than 50 hours in any month, at which time the monthly rate
will apply. Minimum charge for equipment usage will be two hours.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 21st day of August, 1979.

Since the adoption of the ~ove noted resolutions it has been deterSned ~at the
rates for equipment owned by ~e Eq~pment Rental Fund should be changed by
resolution to more accurately reflect the needs of operation ~d replacement.
I hereby request that the attached resolution be adopted.
