A~ 01~DIN~'H,;OE approving and confir~ing the assessment and assessment roll
of Local Improve~ent District No. 62, for the improvement of ~f;arren ~venue from
its intersection with Burwell to its intersection with Ninth Street; Ninth Street
from Warren Avenue to Park Avenue; Rark Avenue from its intersection with Sixth
Stree~ to its intersection with Dye's Inlet, by laying therein a trunk sewer,
and doing such other and further work as was necessary in accordance therewith,
all in accordance with plans prepared and on f~le in the office of the City Clerk,
under the provisions of Ordinance No. 462 and Ordinance" . 479 a::~e~-~ding the
same, and the order of the Court, and levying and assessing the ~ounts thereof
against the several lots, tracts or parcels of land and other property, as shown
on said roll, establishing a local improvement fund and fixing the date for the
issuance of bonds.
The City Co~mcil of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
See. 1. That the assessment and assess~'ent roll of Local Improve-
ment District No. 62, for the improvement of ~,';arren ~lvenue f~om its intersection
with Burwell Avenue to its intersection with Ninth Street; Ninth. Street from
Warren Avenue to Park AVenue; Park Avenue from its intersection ~ith Sixth
Street to its intersection with Dye's Inlet, by layin~ therein a tr~mk server and
doing such other and further work as was fo~'~nd necessary, in accordance with
plans prepared and on file in the office of the City Clerk and City Engineer
of the City of Bremerton, under Ordinance No. 426 and Ordinance Ho. 497 amenda-
tory thereof, and the order of the Court, and General Ordinance No. 505, as the
s~ne now stands, be and the same is hereby in all thin{~s approved and confirmed.
Sec. 2. That each of the lots, tracts or parcels of land a~4 other
property shown upon said roll in ~aid enlarged district is hereby declared to be
specially benefited by said im~rove~:~ent in at least the amount charged against
the same and that the assessment appearing against ~he same is in proportion to
the several assessments appearing upon said roll according to benefits. There
is hereby levied and assessed against each said lot, tract or parcel of land
and other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against
the same thereon.
Sec. 5. For the purpose of this improvement there is heresy created
and established a special fund to be called "Local Improvement Fund, District No.62"
Sec. 4. That the 15th day of December, A. D. 1914, be and is hereby
fixed as the date of the issuing of the bonds required to be issued on account of
said improvement, the sar~]e to be issued in serial numbers from One (1) to
both inclusive, or so much thereof as may be neces~ary to provide
~or the uncollected portion of ,mid~: special assessment due or owing on said
district on said date, the same to be in sums of One Hundred (~lO0.O0) Dollars
each, except the first, which shall be for such fractioaal part of One H~dred
Dollars as shall then be re~ining unpaid, the same to bear interest at the rate
of 2even per cent [7%) per a~m~m] payable annually.
Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from five [5)
days after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
