AN ORDINACE approving and confirming the assessment and assess~nent
roll of Local Improvement District No. ?Z, for the improven~ent of Pifth Street
from its intersection with Jarren Avenue west to the City Li~..~its, by laying
therein a s~ewer and laterals cornlecting therewith to the property line of the
various properties, etc., under the provisions of Ordinance No. 49Z, and
levying and assessing the amounts thereof against the several lots. tracts or
parcels of land, and other property shown on said roll, establishing local
improvement funds, and fixing the date of the issuance of bonds, as provided
under General Ordinance No. 505, and Chapter 98 of the Session Laws of 1911,
of the State of Washington.
The City Council of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
1. That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement
District No. ?S for the improvement of ~ifth Street from its intersection
with %?arren ~venue west to the city limits, by laying therein a sewer and
laterals to the property line, etc., in accordance with plans on f~.le in the
office of the City Engineer of the City of Bremerton, under the provisions
of Ordinance No. 49Z, ~u~d General Ordinance No. 50~. and the laws of the
State of Washington, as the sa~e now stands, be, and the same is, hereby
in ali. things approved and confir~ed.
~. That each of the lots, tracts or parcels of land and other
property shown upon said roll in said District No. ?~ is hereby declared to
be specially benefited by said improve~_~ent in ~t least the a~uount against
the same. and that the assessment appearing against the sa~e in proportion
to the other assessments appearing on said roll are according to benefits.
There is hereby levied and assessed against each said lot, tract or parcel
of land and other property appearing on said roll, the amount finally
charged against the same.
J. ~or the purpose of this improvement there is hereby cre~ted
and established a special f~und to be called "Lo~al I~provement Pund,
District No,
4. That the Jlst day of October, A. D. 1914, be and is hereby
fi~ed as the date of the issuing of bonds required ~o be issued on account
of the improvement, or so much thereof as may be necesss~ry for the uncol-
lected portion of said special assessment due or owing in said district on
said date, the sane to be lin serial numbers and amounts, all as provided
by .General 0~'dinance No. 505 of the City of Bre~erton, and Chapter 98 of the
Session Laws of 1911, State of ?~ashington.
$. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from five
days after i~s passage, approval and publication according to law.
Passed 'by the City Co%uucil and approved by ~ne this ~4th day of
August, A. D. 1914.
