AN ORDINANCE ameding Section 4 of Ordinance No. 409 of the City
of Bremerton.
The City Council of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That section 4 of O~dinance No. 409 of the City of
Bremerton, entitled "An Ordinance providing for bonds establishing the terms
of payment of same, the interest thereon and the conditions of their issue
against the property situated within the limits of Local Improvement District
NO. 53 as established by Ordinance No. 408 of the City of Bremerton, such
bonds to cover the amount of the a~d allowed by the Court under Eminent
Domain proceedings had under Ordinance No. 309 l~ the Superior Court of
the State of Wasl~ington for Kitsap County", approved March ll, 1912, be
and that the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4. The
said bondsi?~wh~fl issued in accordance with this Ordinance shall be numbere~
consecutively and be issued in denominations of Five Hundred (500) Dollars
and shall be delivered to the holders of warrants now outstanding or that
may hereafter be lawfully issued against the said district in accordance
with the number of said warrants and of said bonds, that is to say, the
warrants shall be taken up in their order of issue by the bonds, which
said bonds shall be likewise delivered consecutively and in accordance
with their rmu~aber and the order of their issue, or said bonds may be
sold trader direction of the City Council for cash in their consecutive order
and said warrants be redeemed in cash i~ their consecutive order, provided
no bonds shall be sold below par.
Section ~. This Ordinance shall be in full. force and effect from
five days after its passage, approval and publication.
