AN 0t~OIN~NCE establishing and numbering Local Improvement District No. 57 to
comprise all such territory in the City of Bremerton as may be assessed with spec-
ial benefiIts for the improvement of ~ront ~reet by the extension of same over
c~rtain tide lands, and providing for the issuing of ~a~ants again~t such district
~or the p~yment of damages, costs, and the awards of the Court in the said ,matter.
The City Councdl of the City of Bre~erton do ordain as follows:
Sec, ~. That therels hereby created and established in the City of Breaker-
ton a locaI improve~uent district to be known as ~ocal Improvement District N~.
~he said district to include in it s boundaries such territories as may be set forth
and be included the~ein by the Board of Eminent Dommain Commis oners of Bremerton
under authority of the Superior $ourt of the State of ~ashington for Kitsap County
as the property speciai!ly benefited by the extension of ~ront Street Under Ordinance
No. ZSZ, approved April Zd, 1911,
Sec. E. Tha~ the Mayor and Clerk of the ~ity of Bremert~n are hereby author-
ized t~, issue warrants of the City of Bremerton against the s~id local improvement
district f~r the aggregate sum of five thousand dollars and such furthere sum for
costs of suit in payment of the award of the Superior Court made and adjudged in
favor of Sophia Bremer in that certain suit in the Superior Court for Eitsap County
for the extension o~ ~ron~ Street under the sal~ ordinance. That the said warrants
for the amount of the said a ard ~nd costs be drawn in favor of the City ~yor of
Bremerton to be turned into cash by him and the same paid by him in~,o ~he registry
of the Court at Port Orcha~'d, Washington, for the full satisfaction of the said
award and costs.
Sec. J. That the said warrants when issued ahall be so stamped and endorsed
~by the City Clerk that any person purchasing or accepting them or any of them
shall h~ve full notice that they and eachof them are payable only out of the funds
of the said Local Improvement District No. &?,and shall bear interestat the rate
of swven per cent per annum from date of issue until paid.
Sec. A, This ordinance shall be in full force ang effect from five
days after its passsage, approval and publication.
