of ordinance~ in conflict with this ordina~ce.
The City Co~cil of 7~e Cty of Bremerton do ordain as follows: ~
Sec. 1. All t~ort~on/t~ of the Cit~ of Bremerton e~braced within the
following desc~ived lim~s sha/ll be known ~n~u~ designated as the fir~ district, viz;
0o~nmencing at the inP~secti, o/n ~f the east limits of the Nayy Yard ~.ith the Alley
at the foot of Pacif~ Ave~de~thence-- north along the east limits of the Navy Yard
to the North Corne~/~f the~N~y Yard; thence north along a lihe drawn parallel to
and one hundred ~. twe_$t~~) feet west of the west margin of P~ct~ic Avenue
t~ the intersec~on o~ss~i~d line with the center line of ~ifth Street; thenc2
e. ast along/~e~Se~ter/li~ of said street to a point one hundred and twentyfe~t
(lEO ft.)/e~ of the e~(st margin of;Pacific; themce s.outh along ~¢ line drawn
parallel ~a~ific Avenue ~o the-center of BurwellAvenue, thence east along the cen-
ter line cT said Avenue to its intersection with ;?ashingto~ Avenue; thence south-
eR~sterly along the dividing line between lots (lO) ten and eleven (Il) in Block
three (Z) to the center line of the alley between ~as~ington Avenue and the Water
front; thence along the s~id center line of said alley to the place of ~eginning.
Sec. 2. Permits for buildings in the fire districts shall be issued for
Class "A" only.
Sec. 3. ~Fnenever two-thir~s of the proepe~ty owners upon any block or
number of blocks in connected location shall petit~ion for the same and the petition
is grab. ted by th~? City Council, the fire district s~all be extended to include the
block or number of blocks mentioted in the petitibn, Provided that all chang~-,s
thus provided for ahall be from the outside to the fire district and never in
the reverse order.
Se~. 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
~ive ~§1 days after its passage, approval and publication.
