AN ORDINANCE establishing local improvement district No. 53. and defing the limits thereof and directing and authorizing the issuance ~f warrants covering awazds allowed by Court in that certain Eminent Domain proceed~ug conduct~under authority of Ordinance No. 509 of thm City of Bremerton. The City Council of the City of Bremerton, do ordain as follows: ~ec. 1. That Local Improvement District No. §~ is hereby established to comprise all that territory in the City of ~remerton bounded o$ the north by Ninth Street; on the East by Pacific Avenue; on the south by a line drawn east and west one hundred Il0©) feet north from the north margin of Sixth Street and on the wes~ by Park Avenue· Sec. E. The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Bremerton are hereby authorized and directed to issue local i~provement w~rrants in palnnent for the awards allowed by the Superior Court of the 'tare of ~ashington, for ~itsap ~ounty, to the sev- eral property owners, ~espondents in that e~rtain Eminent Domain proceeding con- ducted by the City of ~ren~ rton under Ordinance No. 509 of the.said City of Brem- erton in the said Supebior Court. The said warran~sto bear inte~rest at the rate of seven ~1 per cent per annum from the date of issue and to contain o~ its face or on the reverse thereof, a clause as follows; to-wit: "This warrant is payable ~nly out o~ the funds of that certain local improve- ment district established by ordinance No. ~08 of .the City of Bremerton and is redeemable in ~o~s of the said local improvement district issued under authority of section ?SIA of Ballinger and Remington's Annotated Codes and Statutes of the State of Washington, or in cash at the option o~ the City of Bremerton. but in nocase shall this warrant be a lien against the credit of the City of Bremerton." This Ordinance shall be in full force ~nd effect from five ~) days after its passage, approval and publication. Passed by the City Council and approved by me this 19th day of February, 191£.
