workmanlike manner, in accordance with pl~n~ and. specifications prepared or
which may hereafter be prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Brem-
erton, all in accordance with a resolution passed by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton on the 21st d~y of July, ~i.D., 191J, creating ~ local
improvement district therefor, nnd providing for the payment of said in~prove-
ment to be made by special assessment on the proparty in said district, pay-
able by mode of payment by bonds.
Section £. That the entire o~s~ and expense of said improvement
including ~ll necessary and incidental e~.penses, shall be borne by and assess-
ed against the property included in the assessment district hereinafter
created, inaccord~nce with the law. The Coty of Bremerton shall no~ be
liable in any manner for any ~ortion of the cost and expenses of s~i~ i~np-
rovement.
Section ~. That there is hereb~ ~reated a local improvement
district to be called "Local Improvement ~iatrict No. ~£", which said dis-
trioy is described as follows: All the property within the termini of s~id
improvement, being upon ,adjacent ,vicinal or ])roxim~te to said ~prtion of said
streets and avenues to ~ ~istnnce back Trom the marginal lines thereof as
are provided by law.
Section &. Bonds bearing interest at the r~te of not to e~ceed
seven per cent {7%) per annum, payable on or before t~n years from date
of issuance shal~ be issued in payment o~±' the cost and expense of this
.i~m~provement, which bonds shall be redeemed by collection of special assess-
ments to be pevied and assessed apon the property within ~aid district,
payable in ten {lO} equ~l annual installments, with interest at the rate
of seven ~)~ per cent l~nder the mode of payment by bonds as defined by
law and the ~rdinances, in redemption of warrants on local ~nprovement ~ist-
riot fund issued on estimates of the City or ~' ~-
Engineer, the (~it~ of Brenlerton
may at its election, sell si~id bonds and m~ke such redemption in c~sh.
Section ~. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in Z'ull
forcefrom £ive {~) dnys after its passage, approval and publication ~ocord-
ing to law,

of 1ZZ feet, all to be with a ten inch server pipe; thence rlknning east along said

inch sewer pipe, by construct, ting a combined sanitary and. storm sewer, together
with all necessary ls~np holes, manholes, catch basins, inlets, and such other

BE IT ORDAINii~D by the City Council of the City of Bre~uerton as follows:
Section 1. That the following described streets in the City of Srer~er-
ton, to-wit*-
Begim~ing at the intersection of the center lines of Seventh ~.;treet and
Park &venue and r~nning east alonf~ the center line of Seventh ~;treet a distance
of 278.5 feet with s~n eight inch sewer pipe; continuing thence east along
said. center line a distance of' 46~; feet with ~ six inch sewer pipe;
f~lso beginning at the intersection of the center lines of ~ighth Street
and Park J~venue and running then'ce east along the center line of Eighth Street to
the intersection of the center line of McKenzie Avenue, a distance of 278.5 ~eet;
running thence along the center lihe of ~gc Kenzie .&venue to the intersection
of the center line of Eigh¢?~ Street and MoKenzie ~kvenue a distance of 153 f~et
all to be with a ten inch sewer pipe ; thence running east along said center line
of Eighth Street to. the intersection of the center line of Oogean Avenue a distanc~
of 260.5 feet with an eight inch sewer pipe; continuing thence east along
said center line of Eighth Street a distance 200 feet with ~ six inch sewer pipe,
