peace safety and good order of the City of Bremerton, prohibiting the fre-
quenting of places where ga.,flbling is carried on or permitted, and prohibiting
the use'of opi~u, prep~ra5ion~ thereof, and other nar~tics, the frequenting
of places where opiL~, prepartions thereof, ~nd other narcotics are used,
and prohibiting ac~s o~ licensiousness and other i~oral ~c~s, and prohibit-
ing ~he co mission of adultery b~ married or other per~ons, ~nd l~roviding
penalties for the violation the~eo~.
BE IT O~j~INP, D BY THE CITY O~ Bt~:~RTON as follows:
~tion 1. Every person who sh~ll be an i~ate or frequenter of
~~~oo~n,-or othe~ place where 'g~bling is ca~ried on or
~~~ ~-y pe~~~ll be found to be an inmate or frequent-
er of any house, cellar, room, or ~t~-~in which such person or per-
sons, or any other psrson or persons, sh~.J~ll sm~~~ permitte~ to smoke
or inhale opitm~, or any preparation thereof, or where an~drug ~s
used or smoked, sh~l.L be deemed g~ilty of ~ misdeamor and sh~ll be~
as hereinafter provided.
Section 2. .Any person or persons who shall hereafter keep a
h~e, cellar, room, or any other place in which such person or persons,
~ ~?~otner person or persons, s~mke or i~ale opi~, or an~' preparation
thereo~z' wh~re any narcotic drug is u~d or smoke, d, shall be deemed
