An Ordinance cr positions of Transil~man, Head 0hain-
man, Reae Chainman, and in the Engineering Department of the
':'!:0ity of Bremerl.on, the compensation therefor.
BE IT the 0ity Council of the City of Bremerton:
That the City Engineer is hereby authorized~ to
create th, Tr~nsitman, Head Ohainm~n, Rear Chainm~n and
Ax. of assisting him as much engineer in the per-
fo: o duties in the Cit~,~ of Bremerton.
Se/etlon 2. The said Engineer, by and with the consent of
the ~[ayor and Council of ~he City of Bremerton, shall have power to
select, appoint and hire competent men to fill said positions when~
ever the business of hi~ effice as such Engineer requires ~uch emp-
lo yment.
Section $. The compensation for the s~',id Transitman shall
be She sum of $4.50 dollars per diem; 'that of l:he Head Chainman the
sum of ,i~o.00 dollars per diem; that of She rear Chainman the sum of
$2.50 per diem; that of the Axemah to be the sum of $2.50 dollars per
diem, the same to be p~aid for actual time employed as such by the said
0ity Engineer.
Se~tion 4. This Ordinance shall take effect ~nd be in force
from and after its passage and '?ublicm~ion according to law.
