Sec i That Section I of Ordinance 1~o 461 entitled,
.... "An Ordinance regulating
automobiles, autoc.'~cles, motorcycles, bicycles, horses and vehicles drawn by horses,
or otherwise, defining offenses and !)rovJding penalties for the violation thereof"
Appr~zed the ~3rd day of J~me 1913, be and the sa~e hereby is amended to read as
follows; Sec, 1. It shall be ~mlawful for any person to ride, drive, or prol~el any
mobile, autocycle motor,~ycle, or other motor vehicle, or bicycle at a greater rate
.~f sl~eed than fifteen ~15) miles i)er hour south of and including Fourth Street, and
east ~sf and including Pacific ~venue and twen~,y (20) miles per hour in other i!)arts of
the city.
Sec. 2. This ()rdinance shall be in full force and effect from and after five
days after its ,p~ssage, appr,o~zal and publication.
Passed by the City Co~n~oil September llth 1916 and approved by me this 19th day
of Septef.~ber, 1916.
