parcels and lots of 1~ ~d parts thereof between the termini of such streets
~ other property,as sho~ on said assessment roll,~ providing for the collect-
ion thereof.

Sec. 1. Tha~ ~he assessmen~ roll for ~cal Imp~svemen~ Dis~ric~ No. ~5,for
~he improvemen$ of B~ell Avenue from ~he west margin of Pacific Avenue to the
east margin of High S~reet,by laying concrete sidewalks ~d wooden curbs and ~tters
and building concrete reSaintng walls or filling In where fo~d necessary,also all
crosswalks,inlets and ca~eh basins necessary ~o finish ~he work in a good and work-
~nlike m~er,according to the plans and specifica~ions on file in ~he office of the
City Clerk,and as provided by ordinanve No. ~0, be ~d She same~is hereby a~proved
and confirmed.
Sec. Z. Tha~ each parcel,piece,lot,or ~ract of l~d named in said assessment
roll is specially benefitted by said improvemen$,and Shore is hereby assessed against
each parcel,or lot of l~d ~d par~ thereof,and~ all other property contained in said
impro~emen~ district,as sho~ on said roll,~he respective amours in said roll se~
agains$ e~eh piece,parcel,or lo$ of l~d,or par~ ~hereof,and o~her property be~een
the termini of said improvement abutting thereon,adjacent or proximaSe to said said {
s~ree~s ~d avenues.,~d such ~o~ts are hereby declared $o be a first lien against
each said piece,parcel,and lot of land,or part thereof,against which the s~e is
assessed in said roll.
Sec. ~. Tha$ for ~he pu~ose of said impro~ement there is hereby created and
established a special ~d to be called "Improvement ~d,Distriot No.~5.
See. ~. Tha~ ~he Zo~h day of November,1916,is hereby fixed as the daSe for the
issue of the bonds to be issued on accost of said improvement, said bonds shall be
issued In serial n~bers from one ~o seven~y,bo~h inclusive,or so many thereof as may
be necessary to provide for She ~eollec~ed portion of said special assessment,due or
owing in said district on said date, same $o be in s~s of 0n~3N~dred Dollars ($100.(
each,excep~ the first,which shall be for such fractional Part of One H~dred Dollars
($100.00) as may be ~hen re~intng ~paid..

~s passage,appgoval ~d publication as provided by law.
