No. ~8, ~der Ordin~oe Ne. B36, for the imprevemen$ of Elizabeth Street from the
censer line ef Nelson S~reet s~uth to the center line of Ninth Street by const~e~
Shere~n a combined storm and s~i~ary sewer, along with ~he necessary Ys, brushes,
oa~eh-basins, man-h~les, inlets and l~teral sewers, also any and all drainging, grad-
ing and l~p-holes necessary to cempleSe the work in a wer~anlike ma~er, levying
and assessing the ~o~t thereof against the parcels of lots and land and parSs
thereof between the termini ef such s~reets as sho~ by and onsai~ assessmen~ roll,
and providing for the collection thereof.

Sec. 1. Tha~ the assessment roll for Local ~prevement Dis~rio~ Ne. ~8, for the
improvement of Elizabeth Street by laying therein acombined storm ~d sanitary
sewer according to plans and specifications on file in the office of the city clerk,
and as provided by Ordinance No. ~36 be and the same is hereby approved and confi~ed
Sec. 2. That each parcel, piece, lot, or tract of ~nd named in said assessmen$
roll is specially benefitted by said improvement, ~d there is hereby assessed
agains~ each parcel, or lo~ of land, and part thereof, and all o~her property con-
~ained in said improvement district, as shoe on said roll, the respective ~oL~ts
in maid roll se~ against each piece, parcel, or lot of l~d, or part thereof, and
other proper~y, between ~he te~ini of said improvement abutting thereon, adjacent
er proximate ~o said s~ree~, and such amo~s are hereby declared to be a first lien
against each said piece, parcel, and lot of land, or p~rt thereof, against which
the s~e is assessed in said rell.
Sec. ~. That ~or the purpose of said improvement there is hereby created and
created and established a special f~d to be called "Improvement 2~d, District No.
~8" ~d bonds shall be issued to pay the costs thereof, She same ~o be issued tn
serial n~ber from one to both inclusive, or se ~ny thereof as ~y be necessary
~e provide for the ~collected portion of said special assessment due or owing ~
said district on said date, Dhe same $o be in sums of one h~dred ~$100.00~ dollars
each, exoep~ the first, which shall be far s~h frae$ional part of $100. as m~y be
~hen remaining due and ~pai~.
Sec. A. That ~he 1st day of. ~reh, 191~, is hereby fixed as the date for the issu-
~ce of the bond~ tO be issued on aceo~t of said ~provement.
See. ~. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from five ~) days after
its passage, approval and publication.
