a~d providing penalties for the violatiom thereof.
THE CI~ COUNCIL 0F THE OI~ 0F B~MERTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Sec.1. The Water Superintendent of the city of Bremerton is hereby directed
to create certain districts in the city of Bremerton for the purpose of allowing
sprinkling of lawns and ~ardens, and to desi~ate certain times that sprinkling will
be permitted, and is further directed to notify all water users, in writing of the
hour or hours they will be permitted to use water for such purposes.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for anyone to use water for sprinkling purposes
during a fire in the city of Bremerton, Charleston, or the Puget Sound Navy Yard;
when the Breme~ton Fire alarm is sounded all water shall be immedialtely shut off
and remain shut off until the "Fire out" alarm is sounded.
Sec. S. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance or the ~les
promulgated by the Water Superintendent, shall have their water shut off forthwith;
and shall be deemed ~ilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not
to exceed $300. ·
Sec. ~. ~is ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days from and
after its passage and publication.
