under Ordinance No. 8£5, providing for the improvement of an alley located in Blocks
Two (2) and Three (Zj, Centril Addition to the City of Bremerton, from the southe
margin of Evelyn Street to the north margin of Ninth Street, said alley to be clear-
ed, grubbed and graded; and also the improvement of Tenth Btreet from Warren Avenue
to Elizabeth Street, said street to be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, con-
structlon of wood curbs and gutters and concrete alley crossings, and the construction
of concrete sidewalks and catch basins, to~ether with any other work found necessary
to make each and both of said improvements a good and complete Job, and levying and
assessing the amount thereof a~ainst the parcels and lots of lands, and parts thereof,
between the termini and within the boundary of such said street and other property,
as shown on the said assessment roll, and providing for the collection thereof, and
fixing the date for the issuance of the bonds in payment thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL 0~ THE CITY OF Bi..~EMERTON DO 0EDAI~ AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 1. Tha~ the assessment roll for Lo-cal Improvement District No. 90~ for the
improvement of an alley located in Blocks Two /£) and Three{Z), Central AdditiOn to
the City of Bremerton, from the sou~h margin of Evelyn Street to the north margin of
Ninth. Street, said alley to be cleared, grubbed znd graded; and also the imorovement
of Tenth Street from iVarren ~venue to Elizabeth Otreet, said street to be improved by
clearing, grubbing, grading, construction of wood curbs and gutters and concrete alley
crossings, and the construction of co~crete sidewalks and c~tch basins, together with
any other work found necessary to make a good and complete job, all in accordance
with the plans and specifications on file in the o:ffice of the City Clerk as provided
by Ordinance No. 62~, 0e, and the same is, hereby approved.
Sec. E. That each parcel and lot of land and part thereof named in said assess-
men~ roll is especially benefitted by said improvement and that there be, and is, here-
by assessed against each parcel and lot of land, and part thereof, and other property
contained in s&id improvement districts, ~s shown in said roll, the respective amotuuts
in said roll set against each said parcel or lot of land, or part thereof, and other
property between the termini of said improvements abutting upon, adjacent or proximate
t~o said street and alley, that such amounts are hereby declared to be a first lien
against each parcel or lot of land, or part thereof,against which the same is as~essed
in said roll.
Sec. Z. That for the ourpose of this said improvement there is hereby created
~nd established a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvement ~'und, District
.Io. 90." Said bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from One to both inclu-
sive, or so many thereof as may be necessary to provide for the uncollected portion of
~aid special assessment due or owing in said district, on said date, same to be in
~ums of 0he Hundred ($100.00) Dollars as may be then remaining due and unpaid,
See. 4. That the 20th day of January, A. D. 1920, is hereby fixed for the issuance
~nd sale of the bonds to be issued on account of said immprol~ements.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from five ~5) days after
.ts passage, approval and publication.
