AN ORDINANCE ap~roving the assessment roll for Local Improvement District itc. 88, under Ordinance No. 616, providing for the improvement of an alley in Block Fonrteen (14i of the Original Town of Bremerton, and described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the west margin off Pacigi~ Avenue; thence west the full width of said alley to the United S~ates Government ?roper~y, said alley to be cleared grubbed and graded, togeth- er with the neces~:ary drainage to make a complete job of same, and levying and assessin~ the amount thereof against the parcels and lots of lands, and parts thereof between the termini and within the boundry of such said alley, and other property as shown on the said assessment roll, and providing for ~he collection} thereof, and fixing the date for the issuance of ~he bonds in payment ~hereof. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 88, for the improvement of an alley in Block Fourteen (14) of the Original Town of Bremerton, and described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at ~he west margin of Pacific Avenue; thence west the full width ~f said alley to the Unite~ States Government property, said alley to be cleared, gribbed and graded, together with the necessary drainage to make a com- plete job of same, all in accordance with ~he plans and speci±~ications on file in the office of the City Clerk ,as provided by 0rdinande No. 615, be, and the same is, hereby ap'pro v e d. Sec. ~. That each parcel and lot of land and part thereof named in said assessmnet roll is especially benefited by said improvement and that there be, and is, hereby assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof, and other ,property con- rained in said improvem~:nt district, as shown in ~aid roll, the respective amounts in said roll set a~'ainst each said parcel or lot of land, or part thereof, and other proper? fy, between ~he termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent or pro~ imate, to said alley, and such amodnts are hereby declared to be a first lien against each parcel or lot of l~nd, or par~ thereof, against which the same is assessed in said roll. Sec. J. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is created and establish- ed a special fund to be known and called "Local Improvemen$ Fund, District No. 88." Said bonds shall be issued i~oserial numbers from One to , both inclusive, or so many thereof as may be neoes~'ary to provide for t~ e uncollected p~rtion of said special assessmen~ due or owing in Said district on said date, same to be in sums of One Hundred /$100.00) Dollars each, except the last, which shall be for such fractional part of I One Hundred IS100.00) Dollars as may be then remaining due and unpaid. Sec. ~. That Ohs S~rd day of December, a. D. 1919, is hereby fized for the i~suance abd sale of the bonds to be issued on account of said improvements. Sec. 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect fram five (5) days after it~ .~assage, approval and publication. Passed by the Oi~y Council and approved by me this 28th day of October, A. D. 1~9.
