The 0i~y Council of the City of Brsmerton do Ordain as follows:
Sec, 1. I~ shall be uni~wful for any person, persons, firms or coruorat~on to
conduct ar~y Skating Rink towhich ~he general ou%l~ is admitted without first havi~g
obtained from ~hs City Clerk a license ~hsrefor, which lio~nss shall stats ~o any ~
o~hsr loo~ion~shall 'be p~rmi~ed e~mosp~ under and by consen~ of the Ci~y Council
regular session firs~ ~avi~g b-s~ had and obtained, and shall no~ bs ~ransf~'~'abls.
Sec. Z. The fees for Skating Rinks shall bs ~h~ sram of 0ns Hundred Twenty
Dollars 9er a~num, ~he same ~o become due and payable not less t~an semi-a~nually~in
ad va~o s.
Sec. ~. 'It shall be unlawful for any p~rson, persons, firm or oor~ora~io~ con-
duoting or operating any such public Skatih~ Rink to oermi~ any l~wd lascivious, or dis-
orderly ~shavior or oonduc~ in said public Sating -~ink, or ~ermi~ aug lswd~ lascivious
dru~'~k~n, or'disorderly persons to visit or attend said Sk~in~z Rink, a~d it eh'all be
du~y of any and all such ps,'sons, firm or corporation, u~sn discov ring any of the
p~rsons hsrsi~absfors referred to,,insuoh public Ska~in~ z~ink o~ immediately remove
~am~, and if necessary, ~ call to His assistan~e a~y ~itizan or 9uhlic orfic~=r for
~ha~ purpose.
Soo. ~. it shall b- unlawful f~r any person, persons, firm or corporatio ~ to
allow any m~_nor child under ~he ag~ of eighteen (18) years ~o l~iter a~ou~ or a~end
any pu~tic Skatin~ Rihk unless said minor child Zs accompanied with and under the con-
~rol of. i~s parent, guardia~ or other adult havin~ persons, firm or c~rporation,
discovering ~ha~ any such minor child is'in at,end,.nos upon such Skating Rink or in
suckling' Rink, to i~mms~iately remove such minor child and direct tha~ the sams

Sec. 7. Any person, persons, firm or corporatfi:n ~i~la~ing the provisions off
~ ~his ordinance shall be deemed guilty ~ff a misde:~leanor, and u~on co~lviction thereoff,
shall be fined in a s~m not exc~edin~ Shree Hundred [~500.00)~liars, or imorisonmen~
in the 0i~y ~ail :~o~ exceedin~ ninety (90) days, or both such fine ~d im~risonmen~,
and u~on th~ second conviction, sha~l forffei~ ~heir licease ~d ~he fee paid ~0hereffor.
Sec. 8. This ordinance shall take efffe:.~t and be in force from five {5~ days
after its passage, approval a¢~d oublication acCording to law.
