together with all necessary manholes, Y's branches, catchbasins, inlets and latera. 1
~:~ewers, and all drain~.ng, grading and lampholes nedessary to complete said undertaking
in a good and workr~'~anli]ce manner, and by doing such other and further work in connectt
therewith as may be necessary to make said improvement a complete Job, and levying and
assessi~g the amount thereof against the parcels ~nd lots of lands and parts thereof
between the termini and within the boundry of said Streets and other property, as show
on said assessment roll, and providin~ for the collection thereof, and fixing the date
for the issuance of the bonds in payment thereof.

Section 1. That the asses~ment roll for Local Improve~ent District No. 98, for
the improvement of Union Street ~rom .Paci±'ic Avenue to Park ~lvenue, McKenzte Str.eet fr
'Seventh (7) Street to Nineth ~9) Street and Cogean ~venue, from Eighth (8) Street to
Union Street, by laying a combined storm and sanit~ry sewers in said Street between th
said points, together with all necessary manholes, connections and equi,)ment and a'.l
necessary digging, grading and grubbing to finish the same in a good and work~.~anli]~e m
ncr, and by doing such other and fuz'ther work in connection thereto, as may be necessa
to make said improvement a com~lete Job, all in accordance with the plans and specific.

Section ~. That each parcel and lot of land, and part thereof n~med in said ass
ment roll is especially benefited by said improvement and that there Se, and is, hereb,

in said roll, set against each said parcel and lot of land, or part ~hereof, and other
property between the termini of said Improvement abutting upon, adjacent or approximat,
to said S~reets, and such amounts are hereby declared to be a first lien against each
cartel or lot of land, or part tSereof, against which the same is asses~ed in said rol~
Section Z. That for the prupose of this said Improvement there is hereby erected
,nd established a special fund to be known and called "Local Im::.rovement Fund, District
No. 86" Said bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from one to , both in-
31usive, or so many thereof as may be necessary to provide for the un'co~lected portion
3f said special assessment due or oweing in said District, on said date, same to be in
~ums of One Hundred (.~lf-,C,) Dollar~ each, excep~ the first, which shall be for such frac
~ional part of One Hundred (,~l(1)O) Dollars as may be remainind due and unpaid.
Section 4. Tha~ ~he lsd. day of Se ~tember ~. ~. 1919, is hereby fixed for the
'~ssuance and sale .~f the bonds to be issued on account of said improvement.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from five [5) days
after its passage, approval and publication.
