AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of Ralph Street from the center line
Elizabeth Street to the center line of ',~;arren Avenue, by clearing, grubbing ~:~n~% consi
lng a combined s~orm and sanitary, latteral sewer of necessary size, witl~ inlets,
basins, and man holes, and ~,providing for drainage and grading thereof, together with
any and all other work ~o finish ~he job in a good and worl~anlike ma~er and to

ment a complete job. All in accordance with ~e plans and s,pecificat.ions to be ¥.3lacef
on file in the office of ~he 'City Clerk of the City of Bremerton, in a~cordance with
a resolution passed by the City Com'~cil of the City of Bremerton,on the 20th day of
~rch, A. D. 1919, by creatin~ a local improvement Distric~ therefore, and pr~?iding
~hat the payment for said improvement shall be made by special assessments upon the
property in said Dis~ric~ abutting upon or ap[~roximate to said property, payable by
mode 0f "Payment by bonds".

other-work to finnish the job in a good and wor~anlike manner and to do such other a~
further work in connection therewith, as is necessary ~o make such improvement a

and on file in the office of ~he City Clerk of the City of Bremer~on, and ~o do all
~hin~js necessary in the premises in accerdance wi~h the resolution passed by the Ci~3
0ouncil of the 0ity of Bremerton on the 20th day of March, ~. D. 1919.

and incidental exp'enses, shall be borne by and assessed a~ainst the ,proper~y included
in the assessment district hereinafter created in accorda:~ce with ~i]e law. The City

Sec. 4. That the said costs and expenses of said improvement shall be assessed
against said property included in such i'm~)rovement district in proportion to area
and in accordance with the provisions of Section Two (2) Chapter One H~mdred Sixty-
eight [168) of the Session laws of the State of iYashington for 1915.
Sec. 5. Bonds be~rin~ interest at the rate of SeV'en per cent (7%~, per a~, PaY'
able on or before five (5) years from da~e' of issuance shall be issued in [oaymen~ of
the cost and ex~oense of said im~rovement, which bonds shall be redeemed by the colleC'
ion of special assessments to be levied and assessed u~on ~he ProPerty within said di~
tric~, p~yable in seven [7) equal a~n~ml install,hen,s with interest at the rate of
five per cen~ ~5~), per annmn under the mode 0f payment by bonds;, as defined by law
-and the ordinances of the Ci~y of Bremer~on. These bonds shall be delivered to the
contractor in redemf~ion of w.~rr.~ants on the Local Improvemen~ Distric$ ~d issued
on the estimate of the 0ity Engineer, or the Ci~y of Bremer~on may a~ its election,
sell said bonds ~nd make such redemption in cash.
Sec. 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five [5) days from and
after its pa:~sage,-a?.~7, roval and publication.
