AN ORDINAN,'JE approving the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 84,
under Ordinance No. 5~8 providing for the improvement of Sixth Street, commencing
.at a £~oint Twenty-five [25) feet ~'¢est of the ~fest Margin of Pacific ~venue an thence
~'~e~'~ along Sixth 5~ree~, on both sides, ~o H~dred Forty Five [245) feet, by recon-
structing bulkheads cud re~aining walls and repairing the sidewalks abutting upon
said retaining walls, to~e~her with all clearing .~.~d grubbing necessary to finish
the same in a ~ood ~nd workmanlike manner and by doing all' such other'and further
work in ~he connection therewith as may be neces~ary to make said improvement a
plete job, and levying and assessing the emoun~ ~hereof against the parcels and lots
of lands, and par~s ~hsreof between the ~ermini and within the bo~dry of s~id 5tree~
and other property, as sho~,~n on the said assessment r011, and providing for the coll-
ection thereof, and fixing the date for the issm~nce of the bonds in payment thereof,

~'~'~.: Sec. 1. Tha~ the assessment, roll for Local Improvement District No. 84, for the

improvement a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specifications on
file in the office of ~he 0ity Clef]{ as orovided by Ordinance No. 578 be and the
same is hereby approved. ' '
Sec. 2. That each parcel and lot of land, 8nd par~ thereof, named in said assess-
men~ roll is especially b~nefi~ed by said improv~men~ and that there be, and is, here
~ by assessed agains~ each parcel and lot of land, and par~ ~hersof, and o~;her propert~
contained in said Im,prov~m~n~ District, as sho~m in said roll, the respective amounts
in sa. id roll, set against each said parcel and lo$ of land, or pa~rt the]:'eof, and othe
property between the termini of said Improvement abutting u~on, adjacent o~- approxima
~o said Street, and such amounts are hereby declared ~o be a first lien ag~ins~ each
parcel or lot of land, or part thereof, agai'ns~ which the same is assessed in s~id ro
~. Sec, 5. That for the purpose of ~his said improvement there is hereby c~'~ated and
established a special fund to be ~rnown and called "Local Improvemen~ Fund, District N
84,- Said bonds shall be issued in serial numbers from one to bo t~-~ i~clusive
or so many thsr~of as may be necessary to provide for ~he uncoi'~eoted portion of said
special assessment due or oweing in said District, on said da~e, same to be in s~ns o
' One H~dred [~100) Dollars each, exce~ the first, which shall be for such fractional
par~ of One H~dred [~100) Dollars as may-be remaining due and ~paid.
Sec. 4. Tha~ the 15~h day of J~e, ~. D, 191~, is hereby fixed for the issuance
sale of ~he bonds to be issued on accost of said improvement.
Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force, and effect from five ~5) days after
paesage, approval end publication.
