Sectionl That Section Pive (5) of Ordinance No. 551 e~titled "An Ordinance Estab-
lishing and Creating the Position and office of ~;ater Superintendent, Definin~ his
Powers and i:~u~ies, and Pixing the 0ompensation therefor a~d for the Fmiployees Thereof,~
is hereby ~mended to ~',:~:ad as follows:
The 'i'~ater Superintendent as herein provided shall 'be appointed by the ~,,~yor, with
the coasent and approval of the City COuncil, as provided by law, and shall hold his
office at the pleasure of the ~,i~yoz', with the consent and approval of the City Coun-
cil, and until his successor is a~ppointed and qualified.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect f~m five days after
its passa~'e and publicat:i_on.
Passed by the City Council and agproved by me this '10th day of f,i%rch,~A.D. 1919.
