AN 0ziDINANOE levying special and general municipal tax against all the taxable
proper~y of the city of Dremer~on for the year 19~.&, and approving the assessment
roll as made by the ~ounty assessor of Kitsap 0oun~y.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE aITY 0~ISSION OP THE CITY OP BRE2~,IERTON:
Section 1. That a tax of lB mills on the ~otal valuation ,of the city of
Bremer~on, assessed at $£,E1£,£~2.00, amounting to $E6,8~6.90 be, and is hereby
levied against all ~e taxable property in the city of ~remerton for current
expenses for munici~oal purposes for the year 1924, the same to be carried on ~he
rolls and co~lleoted by ~he Treasurer of Kitsap County.
Section ~. That one and one-half mills (l~), amounting to 'Three Thousand
Three Hundred and Eighteen and 56/100 Dollars for library fu~d, and for uses and
PUrposes of public library in and for the city of Bremer~on, be, and the same is
here y levied against all the taxable property situated in the city of Dremerton
for the year 19B&, the same to be carried on the rolls and collected by the
Treasurer of Ki~sap Country.
Section 5. That ~ mills on the valuation of pro?erty in the city of ~re~nerton,
excepting Eas~ Bremerton, to-wit: ~n a valuation of $P~,107,640.00, amounting to
$6,Z~£.9£, for indebtedness fund and purposes, be, and the same is hereby levied
against all the taxabel property situated in ~he City of Oremerton, except ~a~
Bremer~on, for the year 19£~, the smile to be carried on the rolls and collected
by the Treasurer of Ki~sap County.
Section 4. That ~ mills, a~noun~ing $0 $1,106.1~, for pa?~e.~t of outstanding
&ocident fund warrants be, and the same is hereby levied against all the taxable
proper~y situated in the city of Oremerton for the year 1924, the same to be
carried on the rolls and collected by the Treasurer ~of Kitsap Country.
~eotion 5. That the assessment roll as made by ~he Oounty ~ssessor, and
reviewed by the ~UnSy Commissioners for the year 1924 is hereb~ approved as the
assessment roll, for ~he levyin~ of municipal taxes for the' City of Bremerton.
Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days from
and after its passage, approval and ~publication, as provided by law.
Passed by the City Oom~nission of the 0ity of ~remerton, this 1st day of October,
1923 ·
