City of Bremerton while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, or without
having an operator's license, and providing penalties for violation thereof,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 0ITY COM~ISSION O~~ THE CITY 0~ BRE~,~ERTON.
Sec. 1. It shall he unlawful for any person to drive or operate a motor
vehicle in the City of Bre:nerton while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
Sec. 2. It shall be unlawful for any person ~o drive or operate a motor vehicle
in~ the City of Sremerton without having in his possession an operator's license
as provided by Chapter 108 of ~he Session Laws of 1921 of the State of ',Vashington.
Sec. ~. Any person violating the provisions of this'ordinance, upon c~nv~ction
thereof, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $100.00, or placed in the City
Jail for a term not exceeding ~hirty days, or by bo~h such fine and imorisonment,
and in addition thereto, in case such ~oerson so convicted holds an operator's
license, such license may be cancelled under the provisions of Chapter 108 of the
Session Laws of 19El of the ~tate of ~shington.
Sec. ~. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days from
and after its passage, approval and publication.
