HomeMy WebLinkAbout0702 Ordinance No. ?02 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL AND GENERAL MUNICIPAL TAX AGAINST ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY 0~ THE CITY 0~ BREMERTON FOR THE YEAR 1921, AND APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AS MADE BY THE COUNTY ASSESSOR 0~ KITSAR COUNTY: THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF BREMERTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: , Sec. 1. That fifteen mills ILS). amounting to Thirty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-six and J0-100 Dollars ~$J6,~86.Z0) be, and is hereby levied against all the taxable property in the City of Bremerton for current expenses for municipal purposes for t~he year 1921, the same to be carried on the rolls and collected by the Treasurer of Kitsap County. Sec. E. That two mills ~E), amounting to Five Thousand Three Hundred Two,and l?-l©© Dollars ~$~,Z0£.1~) for library fund, and for us~s and purposes of public library in and for the City of Bremerton, be, and the sa~n~ is hereby levied a~a~inst all the taxable property situa~ted in the C~ty of Bremerton for the year 19~l, the same to be carried on the rolls and ~ollected by' tk~ Treasurer ~f ~.tsap County. Sec. 3. That On~ mill Il) amounting to Two Thousand. Four Hundred'~ifty-one and 09-100 Dollars [$2,$~1~,09) for indebtedness fund and purposes be, and the same is hereby levied against all the taxable property situated in the dity of Bremerton for the year 1921, the same to be carried on the rolls and collected by the Treasurer of Kitsap County. Sec.'4. That Two Mills (2) amounting to Pour Thousand Nine Hundred Two and 17-100 Dollars [$4,902.1~) for payment of interest on outstanding general bonds be, and the same is hereby levied against all the taxable property situated in the City of Bremerton for the year 1921, the same to be carried on the rolls and collected by the Treasurer of Kitsap County. Sec. B. That the assessment roll as made by the County Assessor, and reviewed by the County Commissioners, is hereby approved as the assessment roll for the levying of municipal taxes for the Oity of Bremerton. Sec. 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days from amd after its passage, approval and publication.
