the 2Bth day of January, 1909, and repealing said Ordinance
No. E81, and all other ordinances in conflict herewith, and
providing for the inspection and regulation of all build-
ing operations within the City of Bremerton, and providing
for the penaltisw for the violation of ~he same."

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0~ BRE~ERTON DO ORDAIN AS ~0LLOWS:
Se~. 1. THAT Section l0 of Ordinance No. 477, entitled:
"An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 281, entitled: 'An
Ordinance regulating the construction, repair, alteration
or demolition of buildings, providing for t,he inspection
el-buildings under process of construction, repair, alter-
ation or demolition, and prescribing and requiring fire
escapes on certain buildings, and fixing penalties for the
violation of the same, and establishing .a fire limit for
plastere~ buildings, and repealing all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith;' passed and approved
the 2~th day of January, 1909, and repealing said Ordinance
No. 281, and all other ordinances in conflict herewith, and
providing for the inspection and regulation of all building
operations within the City of Bremerton, and providing for
the penalties for~e violation of the same,"
as follows:
"Sec. 10. When the co~t of any building, alteration, elevator,
plumbing, fire escape, or addition thereto, as herein speci-
fied, as estimated by the building department, does no ex-
ceed ~he sum of five hundred dollars, the fee for the permit,
as provided by this code, shall be one dollar; when the cost
as so estimated is between five hundred dollars and
thousand dollars, two dollars; and when the cost is so estimated
is in excess of two thousand dollars, two dollars plus twenty-
fiv~ cents for each one thousand dollars or fraction thereof
in excess of twb thousand dollars,"
shall be amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 10. The fee for the permit, as provided by this
code, shall be in an amount equal to one-tenth of one per
cent of the estimated cost of the construction of the pro-
posed building, provided that the minimum fee for any per-
mit issued under this code shall be in the sum of one dollar".
Seetion 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section J. This ordinanee shall be in full force and
effeet five days from and after its passaEe, approval and publiea~ion.
