~HE OITY COUNCIL O~ ~E CITY O~~ BREI¥~TON DO ORDAIN AS
S~c. 1. Ail ~ha~ portion of the City of Brem~r~on ~mbrac~d within ~he following
d~s~rib~d limits shall b~ known and d~sorib~d as ~h~ fire district, viz: Commencin~
a~ ~h~ intersection ~f ~hs Eas~ limits ~f ~h~ ~'a~y Yard ~d~h th~ alt~y a~ the foo~ of
Pacific Avenue: thence ~orth along vhe East limits of the ~'avy Yard to Burwell Street
thence Wes~ ~long Burwell Street to a oolnt one hundred and twenty (120~ feet West of
the margin of Park Avenue; thence ~or~h along the line drawn oarallel to and one
hundred' and ~wenty (1E0) fee~ West of Park Awnus to the center of ~he alley between
Fifth and Six~h Z~ree~s; ~hsncs East along ~hs cent~r of the alley between Fifth and
Sixth Streets to a point one hundred and twenty (1E0) feet West of the West ~r~in
Pacific Avemus; ~hence North along the line drawn parallel to Pacific Avenue to the

~ Sec. ~. Whenever a majority of the property owners on a~ block or number of
blocks in connected location shall petition for the same, and the ~)8~itimOn iS gra~'ited
by the City 0ouncil, ~h~ire district shall be extended to inc],ude the block or n~nber
of blocks mentioned in ~hs petition, prowided that all chan~?es thus provided for shall
be from the outside of ~Be fire district, and never ~ the zeverse order; provided
~ha~ nothin~ in this ordinate shall bs construed to prohibit the City Council from
changing the limits of Ohs fire district at i~s option.
Sec. ,~. Ordinance ~o.~l& and rdinance ~o. ~ ,, ~ogether wi'~h all other ordin-
ances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Sec, 8. l~his ordinance shall be in full force and e~fsct from and a~'ter five
days after its passage and publication.
