inance to regulate bowling alleys, box ball alleys, billiard tables, pool tables
or any other tables used for similar purposes and providing penalties for the
violation therof."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CgMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BRF~ERTON;
Section. 1. 'l~at Section 3, of Ordinance 347, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows;
Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation hay..
ing a li~;ense under this ordinance to have, permit or maintain any boxes, boott~-s
or side rooms in any building wherein such Alleys or tables are operated; and
there shall be no blinds, screens or other obstructions to the view from the out-
side of the building, when said rooms are located on the first floor, and there
shall be a clear glass front beginning not mo~e than four (4) feet above the
level of the side walk or alley and extending up at least six (6) feet above the
level of ~e side walk or alley, enabling persons passing by to see the inside
of the building when said rooms are on the first floor of such building. ~en
such room is located on ~y o~her than the first floor, there shall be no obst-
ruction to ~he entrance to said room ~d there shall be no entrances or exits
on any alleys or side lo~s and all such entrances shall be from ~e Street, ~d
such entrances ahall be constructed fron:~ glass in such ~nner as ~o give a. clear
and plain view o~ ~ whole room from ~e outside of such entrances.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in ~ll force and effec~ ~hirty (~0)
days from and afDer its passage, approval and pmblication.
