HomeMy WebLinkAbout0743 AN 0RDIN~NOE approving the assessment re]! for loca] improvement district No. 101, under ordinance No. 725, providing for the improveme~t of Pifth ~treet frown the west margin of facific avenue we~t to the east margin cf ~ark avenue, in the City of Bremerton, by installi~~ and constructing electrical ~,oles and wiring to- gether with any and all other work to finish the job in a good and workmanlike manner, and to do such other and ~'urther work in co~'~nection therewith as is nec- essary to make such improvement a complete job, a~d levying and a~sessing the amount~ thereof against the parcels and lots of laird and parts thereof between the termini and within the boundary of such said street and other property said assessment roll, and l~roviding for the collection thereof, and fixing the date f~ the collection thereof, and ~'ixin~' the date ~or the issuance of the bonds i.n ?ayment thereof. The City Oo~cil of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follow~: Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 101, for the improvement of Fifth street from the west margin of Pacific avenue to the east ~rgin of ~ark aven~.e, by the construction of and installing electric light poles and wiring, together with any and all other work to finish the job in a ~oo~ and workmanlike manner, and to do s~ch other and f~.rther work in connection there with as is necessary to make such i~nprovement a complete job, all in accordance with the p]an~ and speci~ications on ~ile in the o~fioe off the city clerk, as ?rovided by Ordinance I[o. 724, be, and the same is, hereby approved. Section 2. That each ~?arcel and lot off land and part thereoff named in ~aid assessment roll is e~pecially beneffitted by ~aid improvement and that there be and hereby assessed afainst each parcel ~d lot of land.and part thereof, and other property contained in said improvement district, as sho~n in ~aid roi. l, the respectiv~ amounts in said role set against each said parcel or lot off land, or 'part thereof and ~ther property between the termini off said improvement abutting utica, adjacent or proximate to said ~treet, a~d such amoumt~ are hereby declared to be a first lien against each parcel or lot o~ land, or part thereof, against which the same is assessed in said roil. Section 3. That for the ~urpose of this ~aid improvement there i~ hereby created and established a specia~ fund to be knovm and called "Local I~rovememt Fund, District No. 10l," said bonds shall be i~sued in ~erial numbers from 1 to both i:aclusive, or ,so many thereoff as may be necessary to provide for the u~co'llected portion off said special asseasme~t d~le or owing in said district on ~aid dat~ aa~;~e to be i~ ~L~',a cf One tlundred ~ ~ ~ ' ,glOC~ dollars each, except the first, wh. ich ~atl be for such fractional part of One tlu~dred [~100) dollar~ a~ may be then remai~ing due and unpaid.
