HomeMy WebLinkAbout0740 AN ORDINANCE levying special and general municipal taxes against all the
taxable property in the city of Bremerton, for the year 19~E and approving the
assessment roll as made by the county assessor of Kitsap county.
The City Council of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That fifteen {15) mills amounting to SSS,84?.SZ, be, and is here-
by levied against the taxable property in the city of Bremerton for current ex-
penses and for municipal purposes for the year of 19£~. The same to be carried on
the rolls and collected by the treasurer of l£itsap county, as provided by law.
Sec. E. That two (2) mills amounting to ~4,~SZ.E8 is hereby levied against
all the taxable property in the city of Bremerton for uses of the public ~ibrary
in the city of Bremerton.
Sec. S. That three {S) mills, amounting to ~7,174.92 is hereby levied
against all the taxable property in the city of Bremerton for the indebtedness fund
of the city of Bremerton.
Sec. 4. That two {2) mills amounting to $4,783.28, is hereby levied for the
payment of interest on outstanding general bond indebtedness of the city of Brem-
erton.
Sec. 5. That the assessment roll as made by the assessor of Kitsap county
is hereby ordered approved and adopted as the assessment for the city of Bremerton.
Sec. 6. This ordinance to be of full force and effect from five days after
its passage, approval and publication.
Passed by the City council of Bremerton and approved by me this Sd day of
October, 1921.
