An Ordinance approving the asse~.sment roll for Local Improvement District No.
99, under Ordinance No. 695, providing for the extension of the municipal water
system of the City of Bremerton and the laying of the main trunk of said line, with
~,the necessary distribution pipes to supply East Bremerton and habitants thereof with
,~i~'water, together with any and all work to finish said job in a good and workmanlike
manner, and to do such other work in connection therewith as is necessary to make
such improvement a complete job, and levying and assessing the cost thereof against
the parcels and lots of land and parts thereof, benefitted thereby as shown on said
assessment roll and providing for the collection thereof and fixing the date for
the issuance of the bonds and payment thereof.
The City Council of the City of Bremerton do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District, No. 99,
as amended, providing for the extension of the Dlunioipal Water System to East Bremer-
ton and inhabitants thereof with water, and to do all work necessary and convenient
to make such improvement a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and speci-
fications of the Engineer of the City of Bremerton and on file in the office of the
'City Clerk of the City of Bre~erton, as ~provided by Ordinance No. 69~, be and the
same hereby is approved and confirmed.
Sec. E. That each parcel and lot of land, and part thereof, named in the
amended and reduced assessment roll is specially benefitted b?~ said improvement, and
that there be and is hereby assessed against each parcel and lot, and part thereof,
and other property contained in said improvement district, as shown in said amended
roll, and the respective amounts in said roll set against each said parcel or lot
of land, or part thereof, and such amounts in said roll set aga~i~St each said parcel
or lot of land or part thereof, and such amounts are hereby de61ared a first lien
'against each said parcel or lot of land or part thereof, against which the same is
assessed in said roll.
Sec. S. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby created and
i established a §pecial fund to be known and called ,,Local Improvement ~und, District
~No. 99," said oonds shall be issued in serial numbers from I to 5S~, both inclusive,
' or so many thereof as may be necessary to provide for the udcollected portion of
said special assessment, due or owing in said district on said date, sa~e to be in
sums of ~lO0 as remaining due and unpaid.

of the issuance and ~ale of t~e bonds to be issued o~ account of said improvements.
~ha~ any person or persons o~ming a~y property situated in ~aid district may pay
the sum charged hereby against each such lots, tracts and parcels of land, and other
property, or any portion of such sum, within ~0 days from the 15th day of June, 19£1,
and -thereafter the sum remaining unpaid shall be paid in equal annual installments
with interest on the whole unpaid sum so charged at the rate of seven per cent. per
annum.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shal~ be in full force and effect from five days after
its passage, approval and publication.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, and approved by me this 31st
day of Nay, A. D. 1921.
