Sec$ion 1. Tha~ parking automobiles or other vehicles on any of ~he follow-
ing s~ree~s or avenues for more than thirty (50) minutes at any ~ne time between
the hours of ? A.~. and 6 ~.N. on week days be, and the same is hereby prohibited,
t ~-w it:
(a~ ~ourth ~ree~ from the center of the block between Park Avenue and Pacific
Avenue eas~ to Pacific ~venue.
{b) Pacific Avenue from the intersection of ~lfth S~reet south to the i~avy
Yard ~ence.
(c) Fron~ 8~reet from the Navy Yard ~a~e to the ~ieipal ~h~f.
~d) Washington Avenue from the ~vy Yard Z'enee to the in~ersec~ion of ~rwell

provided ~ ~his ordin~ce shall no~ affec~ vehicles opera,ed by Peace Officers,
physicians a~ s~geons and shall not interfere with the regulation by the Police
De~ar~men~ of ~he Jitney, for hire, and ~ransfer o~r s~ands.
Provided ~her ~a~ a greaser length of time be all~ed for ~he loading or
~loading of ~rucks where circimstances re,uire such, and provided ~~ also
~ha~ on s~reets o~her th~ Pacific ~venue persons~ firms or corporations doing a
~rucking business m~ park not ~o exceed ~wo {2) ~cks a~ one ~ime, in front of
~heir own place of business, between ~rips.
Section ~. Parking of any vehicle within fifteen ~l~) fee~ of an intersec-
tion, or a~ ~he dead end of ~econd O~ree$ on Pacific ~venue, be, ~d t~ same is
hereby prohibi~ ed.
Section ~. Vehicles ~y be ~rked only a~ an angle of foray-five (~) degrees
on ~he north side of Second S~reet, ~rwell S~ree~ and ~'o~h S~ree~ between mi~ash-
i~on Avenue ~d Pacific ~venue, ~ within lines ind~a~ed on ~he pavemen~
~hereon by paln~ or o~her ~rk plainly discernible ~d ~rking outside of such
places so indicated be, and ~he s~ is, hereby prohibi~ed. Parkl~ of cars
sale on a~ p~blic s~ree~ is hereby prohibited. Parking of c~s on Fifth ~ree~
pavemen~ between Park ~venue ~d High S~ree~ is hereby prohibited.
Section ~. ~y p~n vio~g this ordinance sha~, upon conviction ~Hereof
be fined ~ any s~ no~ exceeding ~l~y ~$~0.00) Dollars, or be confined in ~he
Ci~y Jail for a period no~ exceeding thirty ~0) days, or by bo~h such fine a~

Section 6. ~ emergency ~is~s a~ ~his ordinance is neeess~y for the pres-
erva~ion of ~he public peace, health and safety, and ~he ~in~e~nce of ~he Ci~y
Governmen~ of ~he Oily of ~remer~on, and sha~ ~ake effec$ i~edia~ely.
