BE IT 0RDAIN~D BY THE CITY C0~E~ISSION 0F THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 6?4 entitled "AN ORDINANCE
establishing a firs district and regulating the construction of buildinss therein,
and repealing Ordinance No. 414 and Ordinance No. , and all other Ordinances
and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith." be amended to read as follows:
Section 1. Ail that portion ol' the City of ~remerton embraced within the
· following described limits shall be known and described as the fire district, viz:
0ommencing at the center line at the Southern end of Pacific ~venue where the
said Avenue abuts the U. S. Navy Yard; thence 9¥est along the ~outhern limits of
the City Sf Bremerton, as now constituted, to a point where the U. S. Navy Yard
abuts the ~est side of ~lock ~leven (11) in the original town of Bremerton; thence
North along the mast limits of the U. S. Navy Yard to ~rwell Street~ thence along
Burwell Street to a point one hundred and twenty (120~ feet ~est of the ~est mar-
gin of Park ~venue; thence North along a line parallel to and one hundred and
twenty (120) feet West of Park ~venue to the center of Fifth Street; thence East
along the center of ~ifth Street to a point one hundred and twenty (120) feet
East of the East margin of Pacific ~venue; thence South 'along a line drawn parallel
to and one hundred and twenty (120) feet East of the ~ast margin of Pacific Avenue
to the canter of the alley between ~ourth and ~ifth Streets; thence East along
the center of said alley to the center of the alley between Washington ~venue and
Pacific ~venue; thence Northeasterly along the center line of said alley to a
point which is the continuation of a line drawn between Lots ~enty-one (21) and
twenty-two (22) of Block Oix (6) of the original town of Bremerton; thence south-
easterly along the line between said Lots twenty-one (21) and twenty-two (22) of
Block six (6) and between Lots four (4) and five (B) of Block four (4) of the
original town of Bremerton to the U. S. meander line; thence Southerly and South-
westerly alongthe said U. S. meander line to the U. S. Navy Yard; thence N~rthwest-
erly and ~¥esterly along the limits of the U. S. Navy Yard to the point of beginning.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30t days
from and after its passage a~d publication, as. provided by law.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
01erk in authentication of such passage this 16th day of April, A. D. 1924.
