cipal Water /)ePartment of the City of ~remerton, the conveyance of such property by
deed signed bylthe Mayor and attested by the ity Clerk, the creation of a special
fund to be known as 'l~atershed Purchase ~und", and p~oviding that all moneys de-
rived from the sale of such property be deposited in such fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION 0P THE CITY 0P BREMERTON AS POLL0WS:
Section 1, That that certain property belonging to the Municipal Wa~er Works
of the Gity of Bremerton, described as follows:
This !plat of-the Bremerton ~¥ater ~¥orks tracts comprises all
of the Northwest quarter of Section Thirty-two (32), Township
Twenty-four (24), North, Range One (1) East, W. M.'~ Kitsap
Oottnt!y, Washington.
and platted as ithe ~remerton ~¥ater Works Tracts, shall be sold in the name of the
0ity of ~remerton ~o such persons, at such prices, and on such terms as may be
de,ermined by the Oity Oomaission of said City, according to the plat thereof,
and the Mayor be, and he is he. toby authorized to sign any deed or contract in the
nome of the Cit~v of /~re~erton, the Gity Clerk bile, and he is hereby authorized to
at,est such signatures on any suc~ deed or contract and put the seal of said City
~hereon, provided tha~ no deed a~no contract for any such property or any part
thereof shall ~e executed by the Mayor and said Oity Clerk without first having
been approved by the 0ity Commission of said dity .
Section ~. That there shall be established by the Cit~ Treasurer of said
City a special Tund to be known as the "Watershed Purchase ~'und" and any and all
moneys, togethe!r ~ith interest thereon derived from the sale of any and all of
the property described in Section 1 hereof and known as the ~remerton Water Works
~racts, shall be placed in said fund, and no part of said moneys shall be used
for any purpose except the purchase of real property in the watershed of the
water supply of ~he 0ity of Bremerton, and then only upon due and regular action
taken as provided by law in ~he purchase of property.
Section 3. TEIS ORD~NANOE shall be in t~11 force and effect thirty (J0) days
from and after its passage and publication, as provided by law.
