of ~his Ordinate ~d repeal~g all Ordinances. or par~s ~hereof. in conflie~ ~herewi~
~11 be ~ended ~o read as follows:
Section 32. The ra~es of ~er SUPPlied ~hr~ me,ers within ~he Oily limits
of ~he Oi~y of ~re~r~on for a month or fractional par~ thereof shall be as roll,we:
Water in any amount up to ~0,000 cubic feet, per 100 cubic feet, ~ifteen
(15~ cents, 9rovided t~t the m~im~ charge for ~y month e~ll be One ~$1~
Doll~,
20,000 to 50,0~ cubic feet, per 100 cubic feet, ~elve ~12) cents.
Over 50,~0 cubic feet, per 100 cubic feet, Nine' and One-half ~9~) cents.
The minim~ r~e for ~ters used in the supplying of wa~er shall be ~s
follow~
~ in~ to ~ ~ch di~eter inclusive, One ($1~ Dollar.
1-inch meter, 2ire ~$8~ Dollars.
1~ in~ meter, ~even ($?) Dollars.
1~ ~ch meter, Nine ~$9~ Dollars.
~-~oh meter, ~elve ($1~) Dollars.
A-inch meter, ~enty-five ~$EB)Dollars.
~ovided further t~t where two or more separate buildings or peemises~are
supplied by th~ e~e meter, the minimum rate shall be One ~$1) Dollar ~r month
for each s~h buildinBsror premises, as lo~ as the meter remains on the service
though which ~er is supplied.
Section E. If water bills, as fixed by ~he f~regoing ~tes, ~e not paid on
or before the 10th day of each month, there shall be a pe~lty of t~ (10) per
cent of the ~o~t of such bill ~ded ~hereto, a~ if such bill is not paid on or
before the ~0th of each month, after this Ordin~ce eha~ take effect, then this
bill shall become delinquent and the Superintendent shall ~ve the ri~t at his
option to t~n the water off from the premises se~ed, upon whi~ such bills are
delinq~ent, without notice, and such water service shall not be resumed until the
~o~t due, ~oge~her with the ~n~ty is paid in full, and ~ additional fee of
One ~$1~ Dollar is paid for shutting off ~d t~nl~ on such ~er.
Section B. Ord~ce No. ~$ be, a~ the s~e is, hereby repealed.
Section ~. This Ordinance shall be in full force ~ effect Thirty (~0)
days from and after its ~ssage ~d ~blication as ~ovided by law.
