Tha~ Section ~ of Ordinance No. ~72 of the City of Bremerton, Washington, [being an ordinance entitled, "~ Ordinance regulating cof~on carriers of passengers u2on the public s~z'eets of the City of Bremerton in motor propelled vehicles, oroviding for the same and licinsing of such vehicles, prescribing regulations for the same and fixing penalties and repealing Ordinance No. 56~."), reading as follows: "Sec. Z. ~y person operating a jitney bus in the City Bremerton with a seating capacity of not to exceed ten (10) persons and making i~ excess of thirty (cO) round trips per day between termini shall pay an occupation tax or a license Tee of Fifty (~o0 00) Dollars for each and every such jitney l~us. Every person operating any inter-city auto stage between the city of ~remerton and any adjoining incorporated 0ity having procured a cer- tificate of necessity from the State Board of ~blic Works therefor making more than thirty ~505 round ~trips between termini an5 haw'in~: a total seating capac' ~s in such stage or staffes so operated by such person of not less than thirty fgO) and not more than seventy (70) passengers in the aggregate shall pay an occutoation tax or license fee of Three Hundred Fifty [~550.00) Dollars ~:or all such auto s~a~xes not more than ten IlO) in n~nber 2nd-Fifty [.~50[00) D~llars Der car used as an inter-city auto stage exceed- ing ten flO) in number. "Every.person operating an auto stag'e betv~een the City of Bremerton ' ~d any point outside the incorporated limite of any ad joininff 0ity ~d making less than ten (lO) round trips per day and having a seating- capacity i,n such auto stage of not to e~'ceed twenty [20) passengers shall pay an occupation tax or license fee of Five (~j5.00) Dollars for each and every such auto stage.. "No license issued uuder the provisions of this ordinance shall '~be ;rahs retable." Section 2. That this ordinate shall be in full' force and efffect thirty 30) days from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law, 118 Passed by the City Commission of the said City of Bremerton in regular session assembled, and approved and si~ned by the Nayor ~nd attested by the City Clerk in authentication thereof, this £Sth day 9f~ov~mb~er, ~!925.
