Section 1. That a tax of sixteen ~16) mills on the to~al valuation of the
ta~able property of tho City of ~re~aerton assessed at ~vo ~illion, ~I~o Hundred
Seventy Eight Thousand, ~our Ht~uudred Seventy One Dollars ~$~,~98.&?1.00), amounting
to Thirty Six Thousand, ~our Hun&red Pifty Five Dollars and Fifty Three 0ents
~$~6~&~.~), be and the same is hereby levied against all the taxable property in
~he City of ~remerton for current expenses for municipal purposes for the_~ear 19£6,
the same to be carried on the rolls and collected by the treasurer of ~Ci~sap Cmuuty.
Section S. That one and one-half ~l~ mills, amountin~ to Three Thousand,
~our Hundred Seventeen Dollars and Seventy Cents ~,&l~,?0~ for Library ~und and
for uses and purpose of Public Libraries in and £o~. the City of Bremerton, he and
the same is hereby levied against all the taxable property situated in the City
of Bre~aerton, for the year 19~6, the same to be carried on the tax rolls and
collected by the ~reasurer of Kitsap County.
Oec~ion Z. That one-fourth mill, amounting to Fi~e Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars
and Sixty One Cente ~$~69.61~ for such accident fund, ~and for the uses and purposes
for paying accident claims and Judsaents against said city as provided by lawl be and
~he s~ne is hereby levied against all the taxable property situated in the City of
Bremerton, for the year 19£6, the same to be carried on the tax rolls and collected
by the treasurer of Kitsap County. ..:
Section &. Tha~ ~he assessment roll as made by ~he County Assessor and
reviewed by ~he County Com~aissioners for the year 19E6, be and ~the same is hereby
approved as the assessment roll for the levying of municipal taxes for the City
Bremerton.
Section ~. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and publication as provided by law,
Passed by the City Com~ission, of the dity of Bremerton, signed by the ~[ayor
and a~tested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this fifth ~)
day of October, 19E~.
